DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT

The MTA has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement, or DEIS, to consider the environmental impacts of the proposed action. The DEIS was prepared in accordance with the federal requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The document is divided into two volumes. You may display the document sections by selecting either of the links below.

Public Hearings Scheduled
To promote and facilitate public feedback on the document, the MTA will hold public hearings in December. We encourage your participation and comments. View hearing dates, times and locations.

How to comment on the DEIS
To provide the MTA with your comments on the DEIS or to request a CD containing the DEIS, please fill out a comment form. Comments on the DEIS must be received by January 30, 2004.
