What are the next steps for the project?

The next steps are to hold public hearings on the DEIS, record the comments received, respond to the comments (possibly by altering the proposed design or operation), prepare a Final Environmental Impact Statement, and issue a Record of Decision by the MTA and FRA as to whether the Build or No Build option should be pursued.
